Not a whole lot going on with my truck, but I have been making some progress on another Yota...

My girlfriends little brother has an 82 Pickup and it blew the head gasket.

    kalebstruck_zpsdc8b8058_3036e0f77b1f810d973956b07d56e1a43a434a31.jpg

    The trucks specs are:

82 Pickup with Celica 22R/Webber Carb
5.29's with Spartan front and GrizzLock rear
    Trail-Gear springs with Bilsteins (front)
    63's with Bilsteins (rear)
    36in Iroc Bias Ply
    Trail-Gear P/S Pump Kit
    High Steer
Dual cases (2.28 in both) with twin stick on rear case
    HD drive lines
DOM/Diamond Plate bed with LED lights

    The top-end rebuild specs are:

    Resurfaced head
New valves and valve stem seals
    Crawler Cam
    OEM head/intake/exhaust gaskets
New water pump, thermostat, hoses, rotor button, distributor cap, wires, plugs and PCV valve

I am just waiting on the Crawler Cam, then she can go back together... In the mean time I cleaned up the Valve Cover and put a fresh coat of paint

    Haha thanks man

Yeah I saw your truck there on my way back by.

BTW fuck Low Range Offroad... after almost 48 hours they have informed me that the cam is on back-order... So I'm going to back up and punt.

Mines been in that spot for months, it might be done by memorial day, if not I'll be wheeling the Tacoma.

Odd how it was that long till they notified you. Low range is on the other side of the country so it takes forever to get here. Next time look through daves off-road on nc4x4.

Hopefully there wont be a next time lol I'm ready to get this thing done

Finally got around to working on this beast... we got the head, cam and rockers in. Went ahead and got the intake and exhaust manifolds on so now it's just nit-pick stuff and timing this thing

I'm anxious to see how the cam sounds/performs

The Beast is alive again! We get it back together, cam broken in and all is well. We got it up to temp and kept it there for around 30 minutes. We are letting it cool off tonight and then going back in to re-torque the head bolts and re-adjust the valves. Everything went great and I can't wait to have it done. I also got the hubs freshened up a little bit
