The 80's would be sick, but they cost out the ass to build... My goal is to have this "close" to done by labor day, also on a tight budget. I'm ready to get this thing going... My big issues are going to be what kind/size of tires to go with so that I could swap them around between the Prerunner and the Play-toy. I'm 95% sure I will be going with a 33. I thought about taking the MTR's off the Prerunner, putting them on the Play-toy, and buying a new set for it

Been a while and figured I would update the thread. Tacoma's still doing great, I'm loving the Barnes Enduero joints. I have some new shoes coming for the Tacoma, I should have them on this Friday. I also will be doing some upgrades to the lighting :spy:

The 91 is still like I got her. I'm fighting between building it or just trading for a trail rig. We will see what happens this winter and I will go from there

Good to hear on the Enduro joints, that's what I ended up getting for my rig. I thought you were running JJs? Did you swap them out for the Enduros?

Personally I would never run any johnny joint style joint just because there is not enough misalignment to allow the joint body to rotate without hitting the bracket.

Wrong. For lowers where they are predominantly used, they work fine. Ask me how I know.

his johnnys are doing great, 1000 times better then the TG. Trail gear joints were very noisy, the johnnys are a lot better in my opinion. If I were to link anything, thats what I would run.

The Enduero's have been great. I wish that I had just gone another route from the begining and stayed away from as much of the TG stuff as possible. I love wheeling and camping in the taco but I'm just ready to build something else

Went to a private park, Big Creek Offroad Park, the other weekend with a few friends. Had a freat time and would highly recommend it if you're in the NC area. I did manage to make make a small dent in the taco...
