We supply several of the local Goodyear Service Centers in our area and one of the sales ladies was able to hook me up on a set. I'm anxious to see how they do.

Got some fresh rubbers today

I'm getting anxious to see how she turns out. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to end up doing in the rear... I am going to try to rebuild/add to my stock pack and probably run a 1.5 or 2 inch shackle.

Yeah, after seeing how they did on other rigs and the abuse they would take I was pretty well set.

I'm really wanting to keep it around 5-6 inches over stock. My original plan for the truck was to do a 6in FabTech on 33's... luckily that never happened and here's where I ended up instead.

As far as it becoming a crawler, you're probably right. It will probably be a while before that happens though. I have some other things higher on the priority list once the SAS is complete.

She's coming along slowly but surely. Fitting the mini axle has been a challenge but I think he's about got'r figured out

I just don't care for D44's, plus I wanted to keep everything toyota. One of the big reason's I went with the mini is because of availability of parts in my area. I would have loved to had built a FJ80 axle, and it may happen in the future, but they are tough to come by at a decent price. The toyota mini axle has had a few challenges in getting it to fit, but it think that it will be plenty strong for what I am wanting to do, especially after I do chromoly shafts... I already have a backup set of axles.

Shouldn't really need spacers with the tundra brakes I believe. They add width to them. Also I'm sure Adam is only moving the axle forward 1" due to the fact that 3link systems don't move back and forth, they are a stationary forward and backward movement. With leaf springs my axle moves 6-8" each direction.. only reason I moved it forward so far and have a 10" slip driveshaft.

I'm ended up not doing the IFS hubs. I'm just doing the stock ASCO hubs with 79 FJ40 rotors and V6 calipers. I did chromoly inner hub gears. I'm wanting to do chromoly outer hub gears and dirty 30's here shortly... for the time being I went ahead and got a extra set of axles.

I was also able to get my 84-85 Toyota 3in lift spring pack taken apart (thanks jerretxx) I'm going to try to adapt a few of the leafs to my stock leaf pack to give it a lil spunk, along with some greasable shackles.

Was a productive day... I showed up at M.O.B.S. Fab today at 9 and it turns out Damien had a few issues to resolve so he said he would be a while. Had a special guest show up and shoot the bull for a while. Went and got a bite to eat and then he had to head out. Damien showed up around 1pm so by then I had the new leafs that I was going to swap in sanded and rustolium-ized

Shortly after that our guest showed back up along with jerretxx to see how the pile of hell was coming... We had some fun and were able to get a few things done. Hopefully she will be done around the first half of next week, but we shall see
