That's impossible - the UCA and LCA are different for the LT kit than with the MT. Also, the shocks for the LT are MUCH LONGER. The difference between the 6 lug and 5 lug is the extended "eye" or hoop" that attaches to the LCA.

But make no mistake, the shocks cannot be the same and the components are not the same.

From what I've seen both require an 8" travel shock. The uppers and lowers for LT are just extended 3.5". Also in those pictures one shock is fox while the other is kings.

TC and the JD kit both come with several variations of the LT kit. You must specify this when you order. They change the kit based off the shocks you plan to use like king or fix

I think just mounts for the coils, unless you do the JD extreme LT kit that that’s really different

The silver and blue is actually FOX, and the red is Sway-A-Way

Now, that kit you posted is for the 1st gens though?

Dumb question probably, but if the geometry is the same as stock, how does that give you any more travel?

It retains stock mounting points for the control arms but tha arms are much wider. And you have taller shocks which give more travel. Put it this way for the arms. If you move 1/2” at the piviot point, an 1” away may only mone 3/4” but a foot away maybe move 5”. So by lengthing the control arms it gives you more travel. As well with taller shocks that can provided that travel. Same goes for the doestch and fabtech ucas and lift coils. The bigger ucas and taller shocks allow the truck to have some more travel up front. Take a pencil and lay it flat on a desk the pivot it on on end up notice how far one end it off the desk then The other end. Next take a longer pencil and do the same thing notice the longer pencil at the end is farther off the ground even if its the same hight off the ground as the short pencil at the pivot point

^^^^^ it's all about leverage ^^^^ The mid travel shocks keep the same geometry but the uniball allows more movement and theres not as much metal in the center allowing bigger shocks. If you look at the pictures I posted there's a substantial more room.

Of course longer control arms will give more travel, but he specifically said the geometry was the same as factory.

Long travel retains factory pivot points. So you can technically get an alignment off of the factory specifictions. Not a 4 wheel alignment cause yourfeont track is wider then the rear but toe, camber and what not should stay the same buy also retaining the factory spindles all the angles are the same just you get more travel due to longer control arms and the uniballs

Im talking more about getting the ability to put in longer shocks. At full droop with a spacer the uca hits the shock. Pretty much any extended shock would have a longer spring and would not fit with the stock uca.

Looks like you need taller bump stops up top to avoid that from happening. Just saying
