So I saw this thread on CT and am now wondering if anyone can confirm this, it claims that all 05+ tacomas use the 8.4" rear diff with 30 spline axles.

Does anyone have first had proof of this? Links? Photos? I thought that 5-lug tacos were all 7.5" diffs with 27 spline axles.

Looks like CT helped resolve it...
If anyone has any input for this as well let me know. My plan is to put 31" on a 2.75" lift and a possible/probable re-gear along with a possible ARB locker.
