I already have a front spacer and some sort of block in leaf springs that gave some lift. Time for new tires and figured this would be a good time to lift it as well. I have seen many ideas but not sure how well they work on internet. I want to lift BOTH front and rear to fit larger tires. Open to any ideas that worked for you guys. Thanks!

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Wheels matter.

On OE wheels you can run 235x75x15 with no lift, no rubbing, no problems.

It's a 2" dia larger tire, so you get 1" of ground clearance lift.

Get into wide wheels, weird offsets/backspacing and you start encountering fitment challenges.

And you start adding complexity to a vehicle that in the end is still only 2wd base vehicle.

I love mine. Perfect for my purposes. If you want more, a Prerunner or a 4wd may be a more practical choice.

The biggest we can go is a 3 in spacer then it goes into midtravel and long travel. You can also do a 1 in body lift but that'll show some gaps between the body and the frame. The rear is really easy to lift some people do another but different size aal, a whole new set of leafs, or a shackle flip.

I mean I'm going 33's lol but like you said you have to be careful with bs and offset. Our trucks are very capable for a 2wd but there will always be something you'll have to drive around.

I don't have 33's yet but im in the process to getting mine on. @SamGoingHam has already done it along with a few others. Im planing on 3" spacer 1" body lift and minimal trimming of the fenders. I have to get a different set of rims because the bs and offset has to be right. Note that with 33's a regear will be needed and the components will wear a little faster but its so worth it if you truely offroad.

I'm running Cragar wheels with 33x12.5x15. With the stock rims I ran 32x11.5 easily, rubbing at full turn.

3in Readylift & 1in 4Crawler BL. Chopped about 2ins off the front fender. Probably doing the rear as well. Gear changed from 3.58 to 4.56 with a locker.

Yeah, I swapped it for a 3in. Just got tired of having to explain it to people so I just call it a 3in Readylift now.
