bought my rims local from a fellow CTzen...

I look a lot at tirerack.com, but most of their stuff looks like Chinese or Korean... as with most places.

Many of the wheels I have owned have been factory wheels from other makes. I had nissan maxima and lexus IS300 wheels. Any wheels with a 5 on 4.5" bolt circle, correct offset, and large enough center bore.

Stay away from discount tire. I have had numerous bad experiences there. Maybe a local shop or even craigslist.

That was the "Before" picture....Here are the "After" pics.... Pretty shabby now eh? I just bought the identical truck but it's a 2003. Shame the insurance company took those wheels with the old truck.
Truck was wrecked by my 16 year old when he hit black ice and slid sideways into an oak tree... 6 stiches in the top of his head and some cuts to his hand as well as some loose teeth. I still think he was pretty lucky though.

I use tirerack, bought Sport Editions D5 15x6.5. I was after a stock size and they're about 5 lbs lighter per wheel. They're Chinese, would've bought American but they either don't exist or not produced for the Taco. Kosei acutally manufacturers the Sport Edition line, I bought some 14x6 wheel for my '98 Escort under the Kosei trademark, they've performed well on both vehicles. The TPMS sensors were not switched over to the new rims, have to disable the light at some point.

These came with the truck when I bought it. They are from Ultra Motor Sports, not sure where they were purchased.

Thanks, they stick out the side of the truck so I cant go threw mud puddles without getting the whole truck dirty.. I want the same ones but in 8x17's instead of the 15's.

Mine came with Eagle Alloys on it. 16x8's I think.

I like the look of those Ultra's too.

Those are great! How much did you get them for and do they fit inside the wheel wells. I have to replace mine with ones that fit in the wheel wells. Something about not legal in Europe!!
