Will bilstein shocks fit 5 lug? It says they’re supposed to lift the front 2.5 inches and I just want the front level with the back so that should be good if they fit

Unfortunately those wont fit. We 5 lugs need the 5 lug specific bilstein shock

Now these shocks don't lift so you will need a spacer in the front to level. Here is a good source of info on 5 lug suspension

What’s the point of getting the shocks and spacers if the shocks don’t lift? I’m just curious this is my first vehicle I’ve considered lifting

The spacer is what does the lifting and the shocks are wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than stock. Like mine were pretty blown when I finally changed mine out.

I did the 3" ebay spacer because I wanted more lift than level. There are smaller sized spacers out there. The general leveling kits are 2.75" in the front and 2" in the rear.

If your not worried about shocks just throw a spacer in and send it. You only need the spacer if you want to lift but we usual suggest new shocks all around because they stock ones are usually bad and the new ones will make a big difference.

Thanks man. I know only the spacers lift it but I also know know they’re supposed to wear down my suspension quicker

Hey, Zero here and first time poster.

I'm getting an 05 5 lugger for basically free, and looking to do some mods. I'm interested in going with a shackle flip and the fat bobs lift, but looking into higher quality shocks that will be long enough. Any suggestions?

For the front I would do the Bilstein 4600 meant for our 5 lugs paired with some polyurethane bumpstops.

For the rear you can do a Bilstein 5100 or any shock meant for a 6 lug 0-1" lift.

Just clarifying, that's with the shackle flip and add a leaf?

Either or both. Just make sure it's for a 6 lug 0-1"

Awesome. I see a lot of people are going for bilstiens. Is this preference or lack of options? I was looking at kyb struts and shocks, but if that's a bad option, a heads up would be awesome before I spend my money.

Kyb wasn't really a thing when most of use built our trucks. I know a few users have used them it's just the Bilstein is more popular
