5% Tint Opinions

Well sorry I was doing research on tint and found this thread. I didn’t know it was going to notify people that I wrote something. I’m new to the forum. I don’t know how things work.

 

Lol don't worry about it. Threads get necro'ed from time to time and it does no one any harm.

You'll receive a notification that someone has replied to a thread you've manually subscribed to let have posted in, so now that you have posted in this thread, you'll receive a notification that I responded to it by quoting you.

In short, you'll receive a notification when

Someone quotes you,
Someone tags you (e.g. @DRLASEREYES), and
Someone responds to a thread you've posted in or manually subscribed to (hit the "subscribe" button above).

Oh @DRLASEREYES, one thing about the notification system. If you are notified that you have been tagged or quoted, you will receive only one notification. If someone replies to subscribed thread and you receive a notification, you will not receive another notification for someone replying to that thread unless you visit the thread.

2.5% run it on all my vehicles. no regrets! I have to remove the tint on the front 2 windows to get inspected, but precut film cost $20, I bought a steamer years ago for about $100, takes litteraly, 15 mins per window to remove and reinstall tint.

To me, well worth it!

Remove and replace front 2 windows tint cost $20 and 30 mins of time a year..

To have your truck the way you want it...

Since June 2006 when I bought my Tacoma brand new, I have received 2 tickets for illegal tint. Both times I showed up to court instead of paying the $220 ticket with pictures of that days newspaper against my windows with tint removed. Both times, tickets were forgiven for fixing the problem, LOL!

I had 15% in my 08 and it was slightly too dark for me. I had 20% put in both my vehicles last month. I think it is the perfect balance. And 20% is a perfect match to the factory tint in the back.
