Picked up the shovel..now just need to find a deal on a axe...

 

I am need of a new axe myself. Figure I'll get one dedicated to the truck instead of bringing my home axe with me each time. Also will prevent me from forgetting it, which I'm very capable of doing.

Orchard Supply Hardware will match Home Depot's price on a Fiskar X15 at $33.98 (same price as Amazon) and I have $10 of OSH reward bucks or whatever they call them so thinking I'll pick up one of those.

 

What's the length of the shovel? Will it fit across the bed under the rear window?

 

It should I tossed it lengthwise in the backseat on my way to the airport. I can measure the length later today.

The shovel measures right about 42.5".

 

Okay. Thanks. That will fit then. I've got my hi-lift on the driver side, and I'm building mounts for my recovery boards for passenger side, so the front of the bed is all that is left.
