I'll bite, how much cheaper and what would you do? Please explain and break it down.

As a new member I'm curious as I'll be doing some mods.

    Thanks

Why lift a sport and put large offroad tires on it? Missing the differential lock and crawl control now.

    Like others.....I dig the graphics!

OME Suspension with SPC LR UCAs -$1,684.99 (Headstrongoffroad.com, free shipping ask Marie about TW discount)
(diff drop is pointless, what you really need is the ECSG bushing)
Method NV 17'' currently 15% off on 4wheel parts- $683.36
Nitto Ridge Grappler's 285- $1151.00 (free shipping on 4wheelparts as well)
Speedometer recalibration at my dealer and most local dealers- $99
Katzkin Leather Seat Covers- $850 (group buy)
    TRD Cold Air Intake-$439 (partznet.com)
    TRD Oil Cap- $44.96 (partznet.com)
    TRD Radiator Cap-$29.98 (partznet.com)
    TRD Pro Grille- $499 (partznet.com)
TRD Pro Skid Plate- $359 (partznet.com)
Decals-$200 (guesstimate off what they are going for on here)

    Total in parts/accessories/mods: $6040

Not sure if that warrants the $10k+ markup on this Sport...

I believe it was a salesman who built it for his dealership---it'll sell. There's someone out there who loves it enough and not willing to put the work in themselves.

But... you forgot tools, space and time Is surely worth something?

Just don't see how this is somehow highway robbery. It's a totally fair price.

Absolutely it will sell. I just know better and would be willing to put the work in.

So another $4000 in labor? (I'm guessing you don't wrench)...I've lifted 3 of my tacomas. They take half a day tops in your driveway with one other person helping and only a handful of tools really needed, they're pretty damn easy to work on/lift.

Even at $100 an hour for labor and let's just say a day (8 hours), $800, $200 for the alignment. $1000 for the non wrencher.
