So I got my 885 coils on the other day with 5100's along with Fox 2.0s and Ironman leaf springs in the rear. However, apparently I didn't specify that I wanted the coils set at the lowest possible setting on the Bilstein and they set it at the highest setting. Now my CVs are offed and my stock UCAs can't handle it. Also they won't fix it for free. Awesome! I have tons of bro lean and a 5 inch lift up front

Holy crap! So you ordered the 5100's and the 885's and the shop that installed them put the 5100's on the highest setting? That's why it pays just to get the shocks and coils pre-assembled before shipping so that it makes it easy for just about anyone to bolt on. I don't know if you ordered from somewhere that offers assembly but that way you would know they were put together properly. This made it very easy to bolt on in my driveway after watching a few installation videos. It sucks that you can't always expect a professional with more experience than you to do something correctly, and thats bullshit that they won't fix it for free. Good luck, I hope you can get it fixed and enjoy the great ride that it offers!

I just got a call and when they were "fixing it" they also just broke one of my front bilstein shocks and they want to know if Toytec will warranty it

This would have been all avoided if you just buy your 5100's and springs compressed from Headstrong off-road. So many bad stories.

I read your other thread about the broke shock. Sorry you're having such bad luck! I recommend giving Marie a call at Headstrong OffRoad to get your replacement. Best prices and great customer service! Good luck bud!

Anybody here know or recommend doing 5100's in the front and a 2 inch block in the back? I currently have a spacer in the front but would prefer 5100's if i can do it with the block in the rear.

I originally was going to go this route, and then I decided against it. honestly, if you're going to spend $300+ on all new bilsteins, you may as well spend an extra $200 and get new coils. The ride is better than stock, in my opinion. While going from a spacer to adjustable bilsteins is a step in the right direction, you may as well take the extra step and get what works well. I recommend an add a leaf over a block, all day.

Also, If you're lifting the backend, you'll need rear 5100's as well, since they are longer than the OEM struts.

Why a leaf over a block?

blocks are known to cause axle wrap and wheel hop. AAL's are actually used to fix this issue.

Any idea on how expensive it would be to do an add a leaf instead of keeping the block?
