All season mats, 2nd filter delete, DT header, Jardine cat-back, URD shifter, Bilstein 5100's all around at .85 front with Eibachs + .25 passenger/.5 drivers spacers and 1.5 AAL, 0w20 synthetic, Scanguage II, extra D rings, OEM backup camera+Mirror, bed mat, Extang Solid Fold, Popnlock 5300, Pro Comp 7089's 4.5bs 285/70/17 Revo 2s, De-badged
Sent my rear 5100s back for warranty after the started leaking like crazy and we're blown. They lasted maybe 2 years and I have the pictures of when they blew and when I took them off for warranty.
First issue is the company takes months to answer you and in the end unless you track your stuff down they will not contact you.
Secondly, apparently I waited too long to take them off my truck and the grease and shock corroded so the company told me they blew because of damage rocks etc which is complete bullshit. So I am left with a bill of $300 (they make you buy new shocks first for the warranty, and I wasted $30 to ship the shocks only to have them denied. Something to think about because I would have 100% gone with the OME shocks if I knew this Bilstein warranty was such bullshit.
I DO NOT recommend these shocks if you are on the edge of deciding what ones to get and I wish I had not got these. Get the OME and be happy, or buy another higher end brand. Learn from my mistake. Fuck this company bilstein

Bilstein 5100's on all four corners. Front set @ 0 with OME 883x coils. Alcon leaf springs. Viper Alarm. Wet Okole seat covers. WeatherTech Floor liners front and back. Oem Toyota chrome exhaust tip. ARE Shell. America Outlaw Wheels.
Yeah I replaced 2 sets of rear 5100s and one set of 4600s. All do to leaking. I don't off road my truck. 100% pavement driving. So this last set I opped for the OME 60091S. Time will tell but I am confident that the OMEs will be fine.

I have a 2012 Baja and before I started modding, I had the resi "TRD" billies on mine. One died right at 45k with all street miles. The fact that they weren't rebuildable, yet died just doing street was enough for me to invest in serious suspension when it was time. Luckily for me, my truck was still under warranty so Toyota ate the bill to replace my suspension, but still that shit was pretty weak. I have kings and I push them a lot, they don't quit!

Interesting. Sucks you had a bad experience with bilstien. You are definitely in the minority, though. The vast majority of people I've seen are happy with their shocks. I've had mine for over 6 years, and they're still going strong.

I'm just trying to get a better idea of your timeline. So your shocks lasted about 2 years, how long did you wait before you sent them back?

Waited about another 10k because I was rebuilding the rear suspension after. Fronts were trash though and died really fast.

I got mine through my cousins off road shop, because he does so much business he told me any warranty issue won't be a problem, since he only has to let his supplier know. He did say he doesn't like dealing directly with Bilstein because they're always vague and their part numbers are too hard to reference.
