trying to figure out again either to run my 5100's set at .85 and run the eibachs or to run my 5100's set at 0 and run the 885's? im seeing a ton of mixed results and just trying figure out the best solution

Oh yeah, I would personally go with a spring/shock package that does not require you to preload the spring. In this case, I would go with OME springs.

You can use them, a lot of guys here do. They are just designed for use with their own brand of shocks but 5100s are fine.

Lot's of people do. I have them inside OME 884s and mine rides great.
You're not supposed to use them with the OMe 886s though.

I have the 5100's set at 0 and the 885's. Smooth ride and gives a 3" lift. 2"AAL in the rear leveled it perfect. I wheel my truck pretty hard and it for sure makes for a great ride with this set up.

Would 5100's set at 0 and 885's with a set of Dakars be level? I do have a Snugtop Rebel on the back.

I am. I have the 5100's set at 0 and OME 883x and it rides great !! I went the 883's because I just wanted to level it with out doing nothing to the rear. For my truck it took the 883's.

I have 5100s with 885s. I wish I would have got the ome shocks as we'll but otherwise it works pretty good. Got pretty close to 3in of lift too
