From what I have heard, the 2017 Pro will have a 1/4" aluminum skid plate instead of a 1/8" on non Pro models. With the new fox suspension on the '17 Pro. I would think that there would have to be a differential drop incorporated into that suspension. I guess what I am saying is that it might be worth while to use the new aluminum skid plate as opposed to a heavy steel plate IF one is a weekend warrior and not doing a lot of Major off-roading.

Just put in my 5100s on my taco yesterday and I am pretty happy with them. I was able to do the rears on my own with help from a friend but we needed a spring compressor for the front so had to take those in to get done. I had the front set at .85 and took em out right after off roading, the place where my skid plate used to hit I had no issues. Got my rear ones on jet.com for $100 and the fronts on Amazon for $200 definitely a good cheap way to level out your truck while making improvements to the suspension.

Do you still have the torque specs for front and rear suspension? If so could you please give them to me. Thanks!

I have a question for you guys who have the Icon 3 leaf progressive AAL installed on your truck. Icon mentions that you can remove the factory overload and install these. My question is, if you remove the factory overload and put in the AAL, is the rear end height to be about what the stock height is with the overloads or will it be about 1.5" higher? I've also seen people who keep the the factory overload in and still add the AAL. How much lift will you get in that case? 3"?
For the case of removing the factory overload and just using the AAL, how's the ride? Do you still get sagging like with just the overload in?
    Thanks

just got my wheel and tires installed today!
    285/70/17's Wildpeaks on 17' NV's.
rides nice without any rubbing so far.
So far this how my ride looks with the 5100s up front at the highest notch, and a 1in block in the rear. its pretty level, if the old wheel and tires weren't in the bed.

Looks good! How does the 2.5 setting feel? I have mine on the 1.75 and thought about going up. Any vibrations or bad alignment issues?

im loving it so far, i feel like the ride hasnt worsened, maybe gotten better. But no vibrations, and i just got it aligned today. ill post up if anything changes after some time driving, but I am getting a little rub with the 33's when turning. So i will look to fix that.

Awesome, Bro! Glad to hear this. Let me know how the alignment goes and if anything changes. Is the 2.5 setting actually 2.5 inches?

So i got my truck aligned, and am noticing much more rubbing when turning, i cant tell if it was like that as well before the alignment, but now i definitely got to do some trimming. hmmm

Hmm, that sucks! If the trimming doesn't fix the rubbing you may have to get spacers. Was the alignment close to specs?

Looks good. Did you leave your overload on? And hows the ride?

Yeah the overload is left on. Has slight rake but doesn't look bad. Rides wayyyyy better than stock. No more bounce or wabble. Stiffer handling.

Are those the LT285 or the P285??? It's a good looking tire for sure. If it is the P285 do you know the weight of the tire?? Thanks a bunch!

I like the slight rake. I plan on running 885's without the overload. I think I'll have about the same rake. Once I add the canopy I'm hoping for a 3/4" to 1" rake. I have all my parts except the springs. I was deciding on maybe just running the billy's at 1.75. Went ahead a threw the rear shocks on. I have to say, they are legit. Very nice controlled ride. I had a bit of hop after I added my tires. Now its much nicer.

If you can afford $167 bucks(toytec site), buy the coils. I'd recommend letting the coils do the height instead of loading up the stock springs with the 5100s.

My truck rides awesome, at first I had a major alignment issue. The shop I had do the install screwed up with the UCA assembly. Now, it rides super straight. I actually think it rides better alignment wise than stock. I think it was off from the day it rolled off the lot.

Over speed bumps, the truck bounces less and won't spill my damn coffee in the morning lol.

-I was a rebel and left the overload leaf in the rear (against Icon's recommendation).

How does it ride with the overload?
