I was told by two shops I talked to that the factory coils were definitely good enough to go with the 5100s. And yeah, I wanted to do everything at once (financially permitting of course!)

Anyone have a link for the diff drops? I plan 5100s all the way around with a AAL in the back to give it another 1.5 inches and set the front up a little higher. I know its not necessary but I like to play ahead sometimes.

Last I was told (by Bilstein factory here in San Diego) was the fall now (like Sept/Oct). I've read that the difference would be the ring locations and possibly valving (?); however I also have read that there are PLENTY of people running them on the 3rd gens and haven't had issues. I was in the same situation...and finally pulled the trigger because they're so cheap now (and assuming they'd be much more when the new ones are produced).

I went with the 888 and the Deaver AAL. I know most go with the 887, however after reading about the 888 it seems to be "2016 specific". Ill gamble and see what happens.

I think it may could fit depending on what type of tire you're going to run. I know some tires can vary depending on how aggressive the treads are. I'll let someone more knowledgable chime in though!

The OME 885 will pair nicely with the 5100's at 0 and give around 1 1/2" of lift with a 3rd gen 4x4 V6. For the rear 1" there are several AAL that would work well with the 5100's, check out http://headstrongoffroad.com for some options. If you wanted around 2.5" lift in front look at the OME 887 and an AAL that would give ~2" lift for the rear. There are a few threads on here that show the OME 887 and 885 with 3rd gens, so you can get an idea of what people think of that setup but it's pretty popular and people are happy with it. Just depends on how much lift you end up deciding to go with.

If you go to Bilstein site it lists the 5100's for the 16 and they're the same part number as the 15's.

So much for new ones for the 16. Guess they found out the old ones work just fine. Go figure. Too funny.

I did a little research and found out my TRD Sport wheels are 17 x 7.5 and Discount Tire helped me figure that I would be able to indeed fit the 285 70 17s. You can find out yourself how wide your wheels are on the tag on driver's side (frame of truck by the door). Then call up a tire shop and ask what size tires can fit on the wheels :)

So, is Jet.com sold in pairs?? With the 15NOW discount I'm down to $73.87. Hard to believe that is a pair...someone set me straight.
