I'm sure this question has been asked over 1000 times but, I'm about to replace my 3 inch Toytec Spacer lift, it looks great and rides fine believe it or not. But it's time to get some new suspension. I don't want to loose height I'm sitting right where I want to be. I'm currently looking on @HeadStrong Off-Road and debating between there Bilstein set up or go with the OME
    First is BilsteinScreenshot_20180128-133859~2.jpg

I'm not going to put any weight in the front I really don't think I need this high of a coil so I'm going to talk to Marie and find out more. I do some off roading not to much, forestry road's and some good size wash outs that I've done in my truck as it is. But nothing extreme. I haven't messed with any of this before. Every Tacoma I've owned I always had spacer lifts and just went where ever and did find. So I'm breaking in and getting some stuff. Don't want high end stuff right now like Kings, Icons with remote reservoirs. Right now that is, I had a friend that runs Billy's upfront and icons in the back said they make a good combo I'm not sure. Any input would be great, please don't laugh or bash this thread LOL I'm sure there is some stuff that's completely wrong. That's where marie comes in to help when I go to order I'm just trying to decide on which brand/setup to go with. Thanks guys.
Here's my truck now with the 3 inch spacer lift with 265 70 17s. I will go bigger in thet later. Just needed tires quickly for a good price which I love them Falkens.

Edit:I did this on my mobile so they're might be a few hiccups.

I noticed no gains over 5100s when I swapped to OMEs.

Keep your money and go 5100s, IMO.

5100s are a proven shock save your money if I was in your shoes. Also at 3in you may wanna invest in some upper control arms if you don’t already have them. I know at 2in the stock works fine but past that is iffy territory. I have LR ucas an my alignment is at factory spec.

So what is everyone's set up right now? At 3 inches or below or what? I really think I'm going to go with the 5100s right now. But like I said what height I'm at right now I want to stay at. I really don't want to loose, in my eyes in real life it's perfect height. That's just me though and i want to be as level as possible.

If I did go with the 5100s what coil's? Remember no weight on this rig. Maybe a little towing that's all. Nothing major that hasn't been done before with stock coils in front and Toytec AAL in rear.

I have icons got a great deal on them but your best bet is call Marie at headstrong she will steer you right. But 885 or 886 would be my choice.

    I like OME coils.

Bilstein has a contact with Eibach, so the warranty is written as such and some vendors will steer you to an Eibach coil also for that reason - so keep that’s in mind.

OME has a softer spring rate, but supposedly Bilstein is valved for Eibach so they might ride better. I can’t imagine there’s any benefit with Eibach but I don’t know anyone who has had both in a reasonably identical configuration.

You want the 887 coils and that should give you 2.75-3in lift with no weight in the front. You ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want 886s coils. They are stiff and for a truck with a plate bumper and winch. Just get the package from @HeadStrong Off-Road and you’ll be happy. The 5100s ride pretty close to stock, but a little stiffer.

I have 887's on 5100's up front on my 15 and on my 10' I had the Eibach/5100 combo and liked it better. A lot of people get a certain clunk noise with the OME/5100 set up, and I have that clunk. I have tightened, and adjusted everything possible up front, and it only happens if the wheel is turned and I hit a bump.

This is what I just set up, thinking about pulling the trigger. But just wondering about what @Sub_Par said. Sub_par you around? Not trying to get an argument I just want a 3 inch lift like I have now with an actual kit instead of the spacers. If I was not going off road more I'd stay where I'm at.
