It shouldn't be any stiffer, per se, as you aren't preloading the coil. You will notice the ride will be smoother and less bouncy (more planted), as the shock will dampen much better.

oh lol. I ran the 5100s at 1.75 with sport coils for about 6 months and I thought the ride was pretty good. Certainly not stiff but noticeably firmer over stock. Running the sport coils will make a big difference in comfort as opposed to running the off-road coils once you start preloading them. My biggest qualm was that the sport coils, being so soft and not progressive, start to sag over time. I lost probably close to a solid inch of lift over the 6 months I had them on. I was almost back to where I started from :p

I used stock springs and installed the spacer on the driver side and it level mine out perfectly in the front, both sides at 22.5.

Considering the 5100s with 884 coils and Wheeler's rear progressive 1.5" AAL. Anybody have pics of a TRD Sport DCSB 4x4 with stock sport wheels running this setup?

To the gentlemen here running the 884's with Bilsteins - your trucks look great. I'm pretty much sold.

With this ~2 in lift, have any of you had alignment problems, or found it necessary to get after-market UCA's?

    Thanks much.

I've talked to a few people about this and they have said they haven't had any problems but I don't have any personal experience with it. I would like an answer too otherwise I'll just save and get 885s and LR UCAs

Right. Seems like most people are okay - but then you hear the one or two that had issues and needed the UCA's. I'd love to get it all done at one time and not have to dick around with it afterwards, but at the same time UCA's are kind of expensive. :(
