I would consider buying them but I already ordered from HS off-road

I ordered the 5100 / 884 and the Deaver AAL. I have the non tsb leafs in the back but they’re not saggy IMO. Hope I’ll be either raked or leveled, not nose high.

Any rubbing issues with those wheels at all, or alignment issues? Driveline vibes?

Some vibes, yes. Rubbing and other issues, no. I also have the non-TSB with a 1.5" 3-leaf AAL, with the overload still in place. Nets me closer to 2".

Interesting on the vibes. I was hoping by keeping the lift small I wouldn’t have any issues with that. Thanks for the info!

Sounds like with the 884’s and the single AAL I’ll be sitting level or maybe a tiny bit of rake

You should still have a small amount of rake, maybe half an inch or so.

I just ordered 5100 all around and OME 884s. I have some Patagonia MT 285/70r17s going on FJ wheels. I'm doing all of it when I put the new steering rack in. Figured I might as well do all of it at once while its pulled apart. I'll post any issues I have with clearance.

    I just received my 5100 / 884. Won’t be installed for a week or 2. We’ll see.

They are installed. They ride nice, very similar to the original ride I had with the TRD Bilstein’s, just higher.

What I will say is, do enough research on what could go out of whack once you install a lift. I didn’t, unfortunately. Thought I did.

    -Needle bearing (ECGS bushing install)
-carrier bearing drop for lift vibrations
-sway bar relocation kit for sway bar hitting your front coil after lift

    Possibility of needing axle shims.
There’s a good amount to look for and drop $ on after the $$$ for the kit and the $$$ for the install.

How much lift did you end up getting? Any center of wheel to fender measurements and did you raise the rear?

I think my front suspension was old and tired, I got probably around 2.5” from where I was.

I did an AAL in the back, without the TSB leaf. At times the truck looks like it has a tiny rake, other times level and other times maybe a hair nose high. It’s odd.

Happy to report that the sway bar relocation kit fixed my high pitch squeak over small bumps. Thank gawd.

I just installed a bilstein 5100/OME 884 suspension overhaul with 1/4" headstrong spacer on the driver side front of my 2016 TRD Sport 4x4 along with Deaver AAL+5100 rear. Alignment got everything plummed and feels great. No body roll in turns and no rebound after bumps feels much more secure than the jostling of the 5 year old stock suspension.

Tires are stock size 265/65R17. I have no plans to change size or tire since they are 1 year old.

Been awhile since I had the installed. I will have to get aftermarket bumper so smooth out the ride. It is stiff AF. Ended up replacing uppers, lowers, dropping diff and replacing/ extending the FB_IMG_1644118952529.jpg FB_IMG_1644118957250.jpg sway linkage. Here is the before and after.
