About 50cars from the Icelandic 4x4 club crossed a wilderness area called Sprengisandur this weekend (most of them are on the way back on a different route). Several groups where organized including one with just Toyotas (my group of course). Conditions started out bad with almost nonexistent visibility. One of the cars hit a rock and on the last part of the trip and severely damaged a front tire so we had to leave the car and retrieve it the morning after. My Taco was great and I am happy with the mods that I have done especially the wheels although I had already
tested them last winter I had to put in new rim centers to be able to get rid
of the spacers and I am happy to get rid of them, 6mm spacers are not safe on a off-roader. So next on the list is a new GPS, DVD, search light, working lights and a new knuckle steering.

Very cool! I always love to see Icelandic Tacos and the fun they have in snow...makes me jealous. Have you ever went wheeling with user Tommigumm?

Brandon's Avid light bars all the way from Arizona to Iceland ... who woulda thunk! That's cool. :)

That silver one (right in 2nd pic) ... what are those blue lines looping out of the body, and running to the hub of each wheel? I see them in the back too.
