    Update!

Taco towing conrete mixer and bed is loaded up with 12 50lbs bags of concrete! The Taco did great!

Some pictures on construction site behind my house.

    New exterior mods;

    - OEM TRD sport hood
    - Hood scoop insert painted gloss black
    - Grille painted gloss black
    - Aluminum diamond plate tool box

OEM Toyota 4pin tow harness. I tried the crappy Hopkins tow harness and returned it. The OEM harness is plug and play has superior fit and finish, the 4 pin plug comes with bracket so I was able to mount it to my bumper as well as relay and fuses. I highly recommend the OEM harness over the Hopkins harness. I am planning on getting the OEM hitch as well. For now I can tow if I absolutely need to.

    CIMG3855_94d2c61ee9bf119f7e19842ac9b30972bbd85ba8.jpg

    CIMG3862_45ae5a30b7862f49ded82cc0ec6a0a06e5c9c0d5.jpg

Upgraded the 2007 6cd changer for 2011 6cd changer with mp3/wma playback capability. The 2011 unit is much more sophisticated in fit and finish and much quieter when changing or loading cd's.

    CIMG3864_56a148f0b0cdb0066e595dadca5785026a7221c9.jpg

OEM intermittent wiper stalk. The monsoon season is near in AZ and the base Taco stalk sucks...

    CIMG3863_fc7dd5c3419489fa299912377ffe91f30a24bf5c.jpg

Last I added an OEM passenger side Sunvisor with Mirror & Extender, I have had drivers side OEM Sunvisor with Mirror & Extender for a while now, its nice to have the sunvisors matching!

    CIMG3865_560df6d171776685fc7dbf66175ee776d815f575.jpg

    Thats all for now...

    The next on the list are;

    - OEM tow hitch
    - Blu Logic hands free
    - Bucket seats from SR5 or TRD Tacoma and center console
    - 3rd member from 4cylinder Prerunner or 4x4 with 4.10 gears
    - Powertrax locker
    - Fog lights

I cant decide which I should do first... Bucket seats or the 3rd member with Powertrax. Its comfort versus performance. The bench seat is killing me and I spend a lot of time in my truck. The 4.10 gears would be nice, my truck with 3.33 gears and 31's has no power going up hill offroad. I have to go faster than I would like just to keep moving...

You can just pop a tow "ball" in there and tow something?

** I added some washers under the bench seat (1/2") and it made the bench seat plenty comfortable. Also added a center console that helps.

Ya, I put a ball in the bumper and towed the concrete mixer as well as uhaul utility trailer.

However towing from the bumper is last resort measure, if you plan on towing often hitch is highly recommended...

nice truck man. waiting to get me some 30x9.5's then i'm gonna pull the trigger on the fatbobs lift. I saw on Andy's autosport you can get seat brackets and get bucket seats for alil money. brackets are like 120 then the seats start at alil under 200

how do you like your Fat Bob lift??

wanna lift my truck but debating whether i should go with the kit or order the spacers, shocks and AAL seperately to get the performance shocks instead.

and was it a 3" lift? because it doesnt state that on the Fat Bob website.

I would do lift first then go with 31's!

I looked into the seats. I can get set of OEM buckets from junkyard for around $300. However seems like I am going to regear before I mess with seats. Stock gears and 31's suck!

Fat Bob's lift is alright, you can't beat the price of it ($260 shipped). Ride quality is not horrible, maybe a little stiffer then stock.

I would just order the kit, as I mentioned the price of the kit is very reasonable.

The lift on the Fat Bob's kit is about 1.5" - 1.75".

okay, thanks. was just curious how the ride felt and if it was worth it. just threw some new shoes on my baby. some hankook dyna-pros. give me a lil stiffer ride than stock and about an inch of lift. truck looks a lil more beastly now. haha. more proportionate i guess you could say. but thanks for the input! lovin your 5lugger too!! :D

Good luck finding stereo surround, clock and A/C controls... I was lucky enough to find a member here who traded with me, if you were to buy these pieces from junkyard or ebay, be prepared to spend $100-$200...
