Do not know if anyone has tried, but
I am wondering if anyone with a 5th Gen 4runner can try test fitting the hood insulation on their Tacoma.

Scooped hood to Scoop hood in particular.

All my previous Toyotas have had them, and thought it was odd that the Tacoma does not.

Even though it has holes for mountIng clips, as if it was suppose to have one

So, thought it may be possible,
since the underside of the hood between a 4runner and Tacoma appear similar. Toyota also shares a lot of parts and designs, so why not try.

It does look like the 6 mounting clips on the 4runner's hood insulation, closes to the center, would line up. The upper left/right corners are also an area I am concerned about.
