    That was going to be my next question, but I figure it depends on what speakers you choose. The tweeter on the ones I bought are pretty tall. That scares me about the 1" width. Maybe 3/4" will be wide enough?

    I have mine made I just have to make sure they fit. I got some particle board and I am sealing it. Don't think it's the best route but it cost me a whole $4.50!!!

    i'm new on this site but can anyone show me about diagram draw just look like ********* because they just a plastic but it cost more than $30 while i bought the pair of Infinity KAPPA692.9I 6 x 9 just only cost me around $50 that too expensive please, help

    Easy way to make your own is to trace factory speakers on 1" mdf then use new speaker cut-out pattern inside of that.

    I just did like he said and traced the stock speakers and cut out that pattern. I did have to trim the edges a little bit to make the door panel fit back properly but it wasn't that difficult.

    A pair of Kappa's for $50 is a good price, I was looking at making a set of mount rings to, 6x9 for fronts and 6.5 for rear, did anyone ever make templates?

    i try to make it out for my infinitive but did not work, those speakers is too thick and the cut out hole in my 06 regular cab is round shape and only fit for 6,5 inch speakers, ah, so i have to go head and bought another pair of speakers ALPINE SPR-17S CAR TYPE-R hope this is work for me, anyone know how to build the speaker box can share idea please,
    i think about to build my speaker box for my infinitive 6x9

    please, help

    why do you need speaker adapters? I just unscrewed the old one out and put the new one in.

    For anyone looking at buying speakers and need the adapters, if you get the speakers from Crutchfield, they include the adapters and the wiring adapters for a lot of the sets they sell. This may not help for those who already have the speakers, but just in case anyone is still looking, this may help.
