This happen to me in my Altima a few years back. I was told to hold the eject button for like 10 seconds and it's supposed to start dumping the CDs out. Never did work for me, so I just pulled it and installed a aftermarket HU.

I have a stock non-JBL 6 disk changer HU if you want it. Just pay the UPS shipping. It came out of my 06.

Error 3 is the unlisted code for "the stock head unit is a piece of crap".

Save yourself a lot of time and headache and install an aftermarket HU. You can do a basic single DIN upgrade for under $250 and get more volume and better sound quality while using the stock speakers and wiring.

If I were you I would disassemble the radio and see if a previous owner's kid liked feeding pennies into the CD slot.
