    6" lift w/ 31"
Hey Tacoma World, I've got a 2002 Tacoma with a 6" lift on 31" tires. Twice this year I have destroyed my drivers' side CV joint while off-roading. Nothing major, just off-road. 4 wheel was engaged and I was turning both times. Not at full turn.

I am sure that I can't be the only one having this issue...looking for a solution.

    Drop bracket or suspension lift?

I'd say that's why. That would put your CV at a severe angle.

That looks like the diff and everything is dropped. Also looks like a newer CV and the boot just gave. That is a common scenario with those part store CVs. Or was it an OEM one?
