Hello guys, I am new on this site and I need a little help or guidance. I've bought my first Tacoma last week (2011, 2WD, Double Cab, Prerunner SR5) and I was looking into lifting it. Would you recommend a 6'' lift for my new truck? Or what what other brand would work best for my truck....

    Thanks

Thanks guys for your response. But what are the differences between the two (6'' Pro Comp Lift Kit vs Spindles & 5100s)?

If you have a 4wd truck you have to get a drop bracket lift i.e. pro comp etc. this cuts a piece of you cross member away tomake room for the front drive shaft to you differntial.

If you have a 2wd truck you can get 6" of lift without cutting the crossmember using spindels and new coilovers............i have no clue about this method but there are threads in here about it search 6" spindle lift
