    Hi folks,

I have a thread here about picking a good set of stepper bars that would help with getting in and out the truck, more than protecting it, or looking good.

The young uns on the 2nd Gen sub-forum do not seem very interested in the question, so I am a asking the "mature" crowd here, heh.
And yes, I too am over 60, by a hair (or two!).

    Suggestions, please!

    Thanks, captchas and Mike.
I never saw the factory steps, so I may take a look.

Color: Plain-jane standard issue gray base model.
Tentative name is "Grey Gull" or "Blue Heron".
The other family car is an Odyssey, in the nice Honda dark red, named "Ruby"!

Hi Jay, installed Westin Signature tube steps for the missus(vertically challenged) so she wouldn't struggle to get in. Like the look and they bolt to the frame for strength. Took about 45 minutes to install.

    Beautiful pup there Cap'n. :)

    I love her blue eyes.

I'd take it back if I could figure out how. It's 53F outside at my house right now. :goingcrazy:

    Evening all:
The part about looking out for your fellow Americans scares me. I think it means something way different than it did at one time! :(

Yea Capt.; looks like here we go again! We're also in the bullseye. I usually don't mind winter, but this is getting old.
-3 deg. here this morning, couple days of lows in the 20's , then back to single digits for lows!
If I remember this right; they say when we are around 0 deg. here on the East cost, we are at the equivalent of something like -30 deg. in the Midwest. Something to do with the humidity! ???? Either way - BURRR!!!!

I would stay away from the chrome because of the salt and grime.
But the Toyota site has running boards and tube steps you can check out.

Westin has one I would like to get. It's called a Westin, Accent Tube Bar. Like a rock slider, but just for show. Fits under the rocker panel, closer to the frame than a standard Step or Nerf.

Keep thinking of the nine scariest words you will ever hear, if you're a working man: I'm from the Govt., and I'm here to help!

This proves you don't have to have any intelligence to work for the Gov't. Scary as hell:eek:

Hospitals cutting back on staff, doctors giving up practices, insurance companies and politicians getting rich...what next...

The hospital the wife works for is opening up 2 more "Doc In The Boxes"(clinics) and they are still laying people at the hospital off...mostly senior people making good money...

Calling for possibly another 12 inches:frusty::notsure::pray:...we'll be in the snow till mid May this keeps up:eek:
