    Morning Ken, R Three, everyone.

Thanks much John for the Charlie update. Was that PS from the man himself? Sure looked it could have been.

I looked at a bunch of snowblowers yesterday (sorry for using that word Rob!). My online research led me to Honda or Ariens, but I can't find an Ariens with tracks in stock at any local dealers. I'll widen the search today. I also scoped out a place to take the STi for work I'd rather be doing myself - I need a garage! :(

 Morning Dave, Mike, and Ken.

Fortunate no rain here, clear and getting cold 25°F currently. Next week forecast has a predomination of Wintry mix. Relented my denial when Anchorage got first measurable snowfall Monday and swapped to Winter tires.

Good luck finding a tracked machine Dave. No garage :(, took me 36 yrs to get mine, while I want to make it bigger some day, I suppose I should count my blessings.

Charlie, we're all pulling for you and praying for you.

Good morning everybody. I'll be doing clean-up today. A flock of buzzards decided to roost in my pine trees last night and this morning my silver Tacoma is silver with white spots. BIG white spots. LOTS of them.

Other than that, life is good.

 Makes a heck of an improvement, huh? By coincidence, I saw it in OZ-T's mod list, that's what led me to get one ... after, I wished I'd seen it 2-3 yrs earlier.

Morning all. It rained all night here. The duck in the yard seems to be happy.

I'm stiff everywhere but where it counts. I took a few days off to get the place ready for winter, and yesterday I took a dive. I was walking along a side hill when the bank gave away. My left leg went into space, and my right knee was driven up to shoulder level. Before I got up, I thought boy am I screwed now. However the damage is minimal. I was up at midnight eating asprin, but think I am okay for another day of home fixing. Working out hard 3 days a week is what I think saved my butt.

I got both wood stoves and chimneys cleaned up and ready to go. I fired one up last night.

Thanks John. Glad to read that count came back to normal. Long, tough road ahead yet, but he's tough old dude and can do this. Keeping him, and all of you there with him, in my daily thoughts and prayers.

EDIT:  5" in 2 days ... Hope you all aren't in for duplicate of last year's Winter weather, but that's a lot of precip.

Many thanks John for your updates. It is greatly appreciated by everyone. Tell Charlie he is in my thoughts and prayers as well as his wife, and family(you too for being a great friend). He'll be glad to get home on Saturday and get some good home cooking:D. Thanks again.

Thanks for the update John. Still keeping those positive thoughts flowing Charlie's way.

Mike, wow what a tumble! Glad to hear the pieces all stayed where they belong.

Thanks again for the Charlie update, John. Glad to hear he will be heading home in a few days - at least until the next round.

Stay safe, Mike! We surely heal more slowly as we age...and we break more easily, too.

Been raining on and off here for 3 days. Not a lot of rain, but no sun. Ugh.

    Enjoy the evening!!

 Hiya Mike. Well, say hello to the duck for me.

Glad you're just stiff and sore, could have been a lot worse.

Do you use woodstoves as your primary heat sorce in Winter? My folk's answer to the oil crisis in the mid 70's was wood heat. I spent a bunch of time cutting/splitting/stacking firewood up until I "ran away" from home to join the Air Force in 1983. My father even confessed he used to get me mad on purpose because I usually worked my frustrations out splitting wood on the old oaktree stump chopping block in the backyard. We have a gas fireplace for the efficiency rating up here, but sometimes I miss the feel and smell of that wood stove.

Hope the day is treating you well. :)
