For your amp it could be a bad ground to the battery and the fuse to the battery, my old stereo i took that out because it was doing that like a week before i connected my amp may have been a short or just wasnt taking the output the amp was putting out, either way I went with a sony explode lol it has an AUX connection as well and it sounds better on my stock speakers :D

Mine was doing the same thing one day out of no where it turned off and then it turned back on like ten min later, I checked my fuse disconnected the stereo for a bit, dont know if the head unit was getting overheated I have mine in my room still a mistery to me, didnt bother to mess with it since I had the extra one ready to go..yeah i must listen to music as i drive lol

You may need a different amp that will support your speakers, go with a rockford fosgate, jl audio, or a kicker 1k amp you may have a bad connection with the amp..ill try to post a pic of which wire may be causing an issue...

Opinion Nubbs lol i hope its the small grey wire..

Ok, sounds like your subs are 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch's. I believe those ones are 200 watts RMS and 400 watt Peak, which could be straining your questionably 600 watt amp. (I only say questionably, because it is common for manufacturers to boost the power ratings of product, but the same holds true for the subs as well.) I would be curious how the speakers are wired because that will affect the load and if your ohms aren't match properly between your subs and amp then that can cause all elements to be overworked. Additionally, I think you should have someone look at your power and ground situation on your amp. If there is a mini mod day or something in the near future where we could meet up, I'd be happy to take a gander.

The rem connection may cause an effect to the amp (ground) like you said nubbs may be an overload suggest a better amp i changed out the wiring to mine because of that issue the rem connection was the effect, but i changed them all out so i wouldnt have an issue, and yes my speaker wire is out n about i moved my speaker earlier my amp is usually under the seat lol
