The fog light switch has 4 wires. The bottom 2 are dash lights circuit. 1 ground and 1 power. Unlike normal switches that power the led from the accessory the oem switch powers the light independently. Most circuits have constant ground and switched power. The dash light circuit for us is opposite. So you have to grab both in order for it to work. It also uses the dimmer through ground which complicates it more. Moral of the story is you need to use both wires lol
You can get the ssme switch, but the top led wont work thats all

Hey Jerez, you ever figure out what type of regulator motor to get for your rear window? I've been trying to find one that looks like the one that comes with the kit but it's hard to find one with a straight track. 90% of them have a curved track it seems...wtf, why can't windows just go straight up and down anymore? And half the time you don't even know if the picture of the part they're displaying is actually what's being sold.

With that said, anyone know of any stores that sell power window regulators so I could look at them in person?

Well apparently those fog lights sold. I guess I should have swooped them up. Well Mikevee, I guess I will probably go with your right. Is there and disadvantage to not going with stock fog lights? And Mikevee when would you need to know by so I could get them by the 31st?

No rush. I don't plan on installing LED pods soon. The fog switch will be sitting in my shed. So no worries.

have you looked at your existing assembly to try to get some information from it about brand and model numbers? That would help in the search greatly.

from other pics I've seen of the installs I've been able to get the motor information (20800 101311 W MITSUBA mfg by CME)...but that's probably not actually who made the assembly and is selling it and is just who made the motor. There probabyl isn't any other info on it as from what I can tell the rest of the assembly has no other markings or stickers anywhere.

Also, in browsing through 30-some-odd pages of products on Dormans site...I'm kinda thinking maybe he modified whatever assembly he bought to work with his kit (besides the little plate adapter that glues to the window)

    I don't know...I'm at a loss here.

I'll check later when I'm near the truck...as far as I know he didn't really modify anything with the motor, cable or track.

well after hours of research, found his old thread where he first started this idea and he had to modify the 2006 Ridgeline assembly quite a bit to make it work for this. so not sure about the latest assembly he was using before he quit making them. but also in my research, I found that he posted yesterday in another thread saying that he's planning on picking up where he left of with this and hoping to have a hidden version on the market sometime in 2015. Not holding my breath on that one...

here's the link to his other thread: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...rsion-power-sliding-rear-window-retrofit.html
