I work on the line man, so based on prior experience I'm planning on long days/nights. Looks like we're going with Lancaster (at least there are two brew pubs near me). All good about the non-active man.
Also..after a long ass trip it looks like I have something burning out low beam lights....yayyy...

Hey guys. Does anyone have the local expertise/tools to do a differential swap? I have an Eaton True Trac Torsen to swap out from the stock clutch limited slip, but I can't find an install manual online and it might be a little outside my comfort range.

No, but if you do find the tools I'm more than happy to lend a hand!

I actually do have a fair set of tools, I just don't know which ones will be needed for this project. :)

    Would you know?

I'm sure we could do some digging and find out how to swap em out. I'm usually good with tearing things apart and putting them back together.

Welcome! Love the 661, but Hungry Valley is a bit far. Looking for someplace local for some wheeling as well. Hopefully we can put something together.

The closest place is Rowher Flats (AKA Texas Canyon). https://goo.gl/maps/L6HQ7

You can enter the main entrance from Sierra Hwy or the back side from Bouquet Cyn.

There are many unofficial places to offroad such as fire road and the river bed (wash).

This post has absolutely no use, information, nor inspiring piece of advice. It has selfish, slightly arrogant, and many would argue unnecessary to the highest degree.

Buuuuuuut.....I am simply proud of how far my truck has come on a college student budget and a millionaire's appetite!
Just slapped new 33x12.5r15 BFG's on and I can safely say I am finally content with how my truck looks....but my tacomatitis is still acting up so Light Racing UCA's here I come!

What a shitty looking front bumper. Where the hell did you get those wheels??? And are those turn signals or running lights zip tied to the bumper?

Lolz zip tires are holding 25% of my truck together. Bought the wheels + old tires from another member for $200 flat. And yes Josh those are actually running lights that are being used as blinkers until my new housings come in to make them amber

hey you designed the bumper I just bought it

Looking for a good shop in the 661 (maybe north end of SFV) to install Fox coilovers on the new truck. Has anyone gone to Big John's Performance in the past?
