What tray did you use? I have the same Auxbeam, and searching for a bolt on tray to accommodate the unit and breaker. Thanks for any input on installation. Looks great

looks like the tray that is included in the 8 gang box. the 6 gang variant comes with a very different box, and I made my own bracket from a piece of like 2-inch aluminum plate I had laying around.

Yeah its the original bracket it came with. I pulled the harness in the back off the tab to make a tad bit more space to mount the bracket. Then it came with a long metal bracket i just bolted it underneath the original bracket and mounted the breaker on the edge of it. It's real solid it doesn't move at all.

Currently have it wired to a switched accessory on the on position.

Is it possible to wire it to a switch so I have the option of having power without the key when I do need it?

Grab a test light, ground it, and look either for 12+v constant either under the hood or main harness off the ignition harness with the thicker gauge wires for your power source

Is it possible to have both options at once? Switched accessory with a key and a switch when I don’t want to use the key?

I'm looking for this option too!
There was a guy on here that did it but not sure how. I think it's just a 2-way switch.

After read all 22 pages guess I don’t need to spend the $ on a spod or likes!

Anyone know if the current 6 gang has the replaceable relays or is it like the 8 gang and not replaceable?

In the process of doing mine and de-fawking my messy wiring. Put it right here so I dont have to reach to turn anything on, and its available with my free hand/shift hand.
Will be handy here for f/r lockers, lights, etc without needing to take focus off of wheeling.
Will get some nicer screws so it doesnt look as shitty

Anyone figure out a way to run lights through this and still tie into the factory brights stalk? I like tieing my forward facing lights into the factory brights so they can all be killed quickly.

Can be done using a 5 pin relay. If you're not familiar with them do some research on how they work. Ask some more questions once you think you figured it out how to wire everything. If you're totally lost I can spend some time later on drawing a wiring diagram to help you.

I meant utilizing the auxbeams internal relays. Thats half the appeal of these things is not having a bunch of additional relays mounted everywhere.

What Im wanting is to pull power from the factory brights switch feed it to the aux beam switch then feed that to the auxbeam relays and out to the lights.
