they are the same style as my nilight there is no breaker because the 6 gang has relays and fuses that will cook off before tripping the breaker

I've a 6 gang in my Tacoma, have run it since 2022, never had a need for a breaker. ive an 8 gang in my cheap wheeling toy, and it has a breaker but no relays with the fuses and never had an issue either way.

I have a couple of question if you don't mind.

I'm looking to control two sets of lights: 20" dual function light bar and a set of two single function 6" light bars.
What's the difference between the BA60 and RA60? Is it just the RGB and 3 mode functions?

From the Auxbeam web page it is vague if the 60A main circuit breaker comes with the RA60. The breaker is shown in one of the pictures, but it's not listed in the "Package Includes" items unless they consider it part of the 1 x 6 Gang Switch Panel Set: Auxbeam® RA60 RGB Switch Panel, Toggle/ Momentary/ Pulsed Mode

However, this RA60 on Amazon says the 60A breaker is included: Amazon.com: Auxbeam RGB 6 Gang Switch Panel RA60 Auto-Dimmable Switch Panel w/Momentary Toggle Pulsed, Control Panel Switch Pod w/Memory Function 12-24V Switch Panel for Truck UTV Boat Waterproof, 2-Year Warranty : Automotive

It looks as if the BA60 does not include the 60A breaker. Is this correct?

Yes it is included through Auxbeam. It isn't in the Description I don't know why they left it out. If you go through the pictures it does show it though. But it is included otherwise.

Question about the memory function. The unit claims that it will remember which channels were powered on and so the next time you turn the vehicle on, it will power up those same accessories automatically. What is not clear is if the unit itself needs to be turned on every time (assuming its wired to ignition, not direct to battery)? Or does one have to physically press the on/off button to turn on the panel every time, then let it engage the channel memory?

that is a good question, my assumption if the panel is wired hot then yes. but mine is wired hot, but if you press the power button will shut off all the stuff on the panel, press the on again and anything that was on will come back up

When you say wired hot, you mean direct to battery so the panel stays on with ignition off? If you had the panel on and briefly disconnected main power to the panel, then reconnected, would the panel come back in the on position or be off?

I'd have to pull it out to measure it, which is a pain.
When I made it I just used cardboard to make a template and didn't measure anything.
