The white wire is pretty much a "switch".

I mounted mine on the cubby to the left of the steering wheel. Will try to grab a picture later.

I am going a different route, I'm using a Federal Signal SmartSiren SS200SM controller. It has five 30 amp relays, and several 10 Amp channels on the slide switch and the other pushbutton switches.

It's highly programmable, and has other features like a PA system, siren, radio rebroadcast (audio aux), warning lightbar control, traffic advisor, etc.

I am a total lighting idiot but I have ditch lights and a 30 inch bar wired in my third gen with relays. Do I need to use the relays I have now if I get this setup or can the fuse box act as a relay?

With the Auxbeam box, you don't need relays.

Thank you, so do I just connect the positive and negative wires to the correct slots? How do you like your unit so far?

Yes, pretty simple wiring. It works well. The only semi-complaint I have is that the switch panel is bright. I put it on its lowest brightness setting, but still a little bright. I think I need to cover up the switches I am not using with something opaque to cut some of the light. I use the panel for hidden bumper light bar, ditch lights and rear bumper lights.

Not "totally distracting bright." But brighter than the other lights on the dash. I installed mine over the cubby area left of the steering wheel, so it does sit low. I have seen some people mount them in Jeeps up near the rear view mirror. Would be way too bright in that location. I'll see if I can get a good picture tonight.
