Which fuse did you guys tie into? I have mine tied into my headlights but would like to run it without headlight on. I would also like to not have to start my car, maybe leave in accessory mode. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Roughly 1mm x 4mm. Side view. 020 SMD LEDs seem to be the closest match.

I ordered a bunch and I’ll update once they arrive.

Ok. So. I ordered 2 different SMDs. 020s and 335s.

Here’s a comparison shot. The 020 is on the right and the 335 is on the left.

    upload_2021-5-13_0-9-22.jpg

The 020s are the correct ones but the 335s have a bigger contact surface to solder as you can see here.

    upload_2021-5-13_0-9-41.jpg

I used the 335s because it would be easier. Here’s what I ordered.

    upload_2021-5-13_0-10-13.jpg

You can see the factory 020s across the top and the replacement 335s across the bottom here.

    upload_2021-5-13_0-10-29.jpg

It ain’t pretty but it works.

I have a roll of 100 red 020 SMDs if anyone wants them. Just pay shipping.

    Nice work!
    How hard was the install?
I am having trouble finding amber 335s. Do you remember seeing them anywhere?

    Thanks.

It was super easy, but I solder shit at work all day.

if you’re comfortable with a soldering iron you should be fine.

I do not remember seeing them but I specifically searched out red ones.

Try AliExpress, that’s where the 020s came from. They seem to have a lot of stuff you can’t find here.

I just installed mine, but I’m having issues with it working. The control panel won’t turn on. It did briefly, but wouldn’t turn on later in the evening. I think it’s a fuse issue.
    Any help?

You did run the one little wire to a main power source?

I got the auto dimmable one, so that wire runs to the fuse box and plugs into a fuse of your choice

Have you checked both power wires to make sure they still have power? Have you checked the circuit breaker to make sure it isn't tripped. Some of the plastic covers on those fit so tight they will pop the breakers and you can't tell the breakers are tripped.
