    no its not cheap i do not like the retrofits i honestly they they are plain out ugly. its my truck so ima do it the way i want. and you will not have alot of scatter if you aim them right and for them to flip their mirror jus gives me better reason to let them know speed up or get out of the way im sorry this is just my outlook of it like u said im not here to compare paychecks either thats no ones buisness but mine but you dont need to come on here and tell someone they are doing it the cheap way bcz im honestly not

    I have to agree. Retrofits and projectors are the safer route than dropping them into halogen headlight assemblies... The cutoffs that come from projectors are amazing.
    Buuuut I was short on cash but needed brigher light to get around coffeeland at night- I have mine adjusted properly and use glare shields..Tested it out driving behind my friends civic and the light was more than tolerable. I've never been high-beamed in the year that I've had them, and use the highs to get around the farms at night.

    Both sides can argue forever, stating that even badly-adjusted halogens are worse than halogen-housed HID's with proper adjustments; but that the cutoff from projectors are safer.. It's like arguing over politics, one side will never win.

    Just my .02...

    i have 8000k and i like them. they dont have as much blue as people make them out to be. but either way 6000k or 8000k is the way to go
