Hey all....I'm new to TW and reside in Santa Barbara. I just popped to introduce myself. Here is a picture of how my Tacoma sits now..
This was taken in the Alabama Hills out of Lone Pine, CA.

Since my suspension is pretty bad & I have a lot of body roll...I'm pondering redoing the suspension. I'm not wanting to spend the money but, sometimes you just have to do it...ya know.

I hear ya, if you dont want to spend too much mula I would just do bilistein 5100's all around.

Yeah, I'm kind of on the fence between going with Bilstein Adjustables paired up with either Eibach or 881's up front or biting the bullet & getting some Icons. I've been talking with a guy from WheelersOffroad about it. I read on the TTORA Forums that most of the people who didn't go with coilovers wish they had later on. I guess it's all how you drive your truck... In any case, I appreciate the suggestions/advice :)
I just haven't made my mind up yet. I've researched the heck out of all this for months now...

Welcome...yeah I enjoyed my billies for a couple months and 1 off road trip...then I got myself some coilovers. I say just save up and get the icons.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I just am a little hesitant on going the coiliver route because I'm uncertain of how much tinkering/adjusting & maintenance they will require. This truck is my daily driver and I can't afford to be down or without transportation if things are not operating properly. That and if they require a lot of money to maintain them as well. If its not much then I'm on board.

Doesn't cost much to maintain em....as far as a rebuild, if needed, shouldn't take more than a few hours for a good shop to do it. There's definitely a difference if you're going to be off-roading...a higher end coilover will absorb a lot more than the billies. If you aren't going to be off roading, then 5100's for sure.
There are a lot of local guys that can help with installation, fabrication...let us know if you need something in particular, I'm sure we can point you in the right direction.
Now if I can get Mr. Dangles to call me....

I'm really stoked that I'm not the oldest guy in the 805 thread anymore. Thanks for that.

Haha Yeah, looks like I took that spot from ya then. Do I get a prize or something? I just might need a hand with installing suspension parts(when I get them).

Mid way through rebuilding my fox 10" resi's.... no wonder my front end sucked. 3 out of 4 shocks were blown.... no rebound even at full pressure hahaha. This should be nice when I'm done...
Oh and just in case anyone is wondering, POLYPERFORMANCE got everything taken care of concerning the missing shock oil. Good stuff!
