I would imagine that you could order the TC UCA's directly from there and save yourself any mark up, and a local member is likely willing to do the install. Lots of us do all of our own work, including welding, so an upper arm install isn't a big deal. Some are college students looking for a bit of food money too, could be worth pursuing. Just thinking aloud

Nice, trans flushes are always nice although i stay away from flushing and just empty and refill, for the sake of seals.

Does anyone have left handed drill bits or an ez out?
And chris, I have your lug adapter, can drop it off anytime!

Anybody know where I can get a stock rim/spare rim? Just need the rim since the tires are not stock size. I've been watching CL and the marketplace here.

Cool! I'm driving up to Bishop on Wednesday, so I'll definitely need it before then. I'll be home tonight after 7:30 if you want to swing by around then.

    Question for the local guys...

When you installed your new suspension, aproximately how long did it take you to get the old off, the new on and have everything torqued to spec?
This is with the asumption that you did the front & rear at the same time...

And once you had it all buttoned down, how much tinkering was involved after the initial install(re-torquing, adding/removing leafs, alignment, etc)?

Id say a day as well. Once it's installed and after you get an alignment there isn't much tinkering needed as long as you bought all the proper parts. I checked all bolts and retorqued a couple days after, then a week after, and after that pretty much every month. for me at least. depends how hard you run it. If you're offfroading once a week then you should probably check it once a week.

The u-bolts area different story though. If you get new ones, they will stretch quite a bit, so you want to stay on top of those a little more. Once they stop stretching then just check them just like all your other stuff.

Took my about 3.5 hours for the rear 3 leaf aal, and about 4 hours for the front, if Im remembering right. Had to retorque the u bolts multiple times, then retourqued the front once. Was my first time doing this, havent worked on cars since high school. Having air tools helped a lot too.

Ok, so i just ordered my Wheelers SuperBumps this afternoon(The AllPro Front Extended Break Lines will get ordered after the initial install). The install will be in the near future. Once I have a specific install date I'll post it up in hopes that some of you local folks will be inclined to lend a hand as I sure could use it. Here is a list of what I plan to install:

    -Icon Extended Travel Coilovers
    -Dakar Leaf Pack
    -Allpro U-Bolt Flip Kit
    -Allpro Rear Extended Break Lines
    -Wheelers SuperBumps(front & back)
    -Wheelers Carrier Bearing

I'm also looking for a bit of insight/assistance in swapping out my ball joints in my Camburg Ball Joint UCA's.

My plan is to have the truck all dialed in before the end of this month.
I do have some tools but not enough to to the install at my place unfortunately. My driveway isnt flat either so....that won't work so well I wouldn't have thought. I can provide pizza, beer, some tools, & my wrenching capabilities.
