    Got the switchbacks installed. But I'm waiting on the retrofit kit. I pulled apart a set of my old headlights to prep for it. Im gonna leave the reflector for the drl this time so it shows the switch backs better.

    I went with:
    -Mini D2S stage III kit
    -Morimoto 5Five ballasts
    -55W XB35 5000K bulbs
    -Apollo 3.0 shrouds
    -2 sets of Morimoto xB LED Angel Eyes (Amber for behind the shroud, white for the front face)

    Got the wrong color for behind the shroud, so I'm waiting on the amber ones

    Planning to hook the amber up to the turn signals also

    Partial product below, painted the housing and reflector bowl with a textured metallic black

    From my experience with HIDs which has been quite a few different brands and combinations, I would say these are a pretty good quality brand. Got them on Amazon for a decent price.

    Nice truck! Can't believe you ditched the welds, which are forged, for cast XDs, though. And were they chrome or polished aluminum? When I sold my pro comps, people thought they were chrome, but I polished the hell out of the aluminum!
