82 Toyota Pickup Odometer issue

    So this is more a minor thing, but I would like to read the mileage that I'm doing on my truck. My problem is that only the white (1 mile digit) is turning. I took it out and it feels like an internal part of the gauge itself might be stripped. Its like its not catching on something when you move the white. You can feel resistance, but it just skips or something. I found another gauge cluster and it had the same odometer issue as the first. I don't want to buy new because the cluster was a not-so-mint $80. but it was local! Do any of you have any idea at all on what this could be? I'll send pics later, as I'm busy at the moment.
