What's going on with your setup that makes you say that?

It feels like it's trying to shake itself apart on the freeway. Granted, we have shitty freeway maintenance in CA. Still, it's a truck. It should be able to handle a bump. I fucked up.

Just very uncomfortable. I just redid the rear suspension with an AAL and timbrens and couldn't be happier. Next up is the front end upgrade with some OME springs and I'll be living the dream.

Can you provide a measurement from the center of the hub to the bottom of the front fender?

I went with OME 885 with 5100s and custom AAL with 5100s. I went with 265/75/16 Toyo Open Country AT II tires. I was contemplating 285 tires but didn't want to deal with any rubbing. I also have SpiderTrax spacers but I'm not sold on how the truck looks with the spacers. I wish SpiderTrax made 1" spacers.

Love the truck and I love the setup. Not steering wheel shimmy and no driveline vibrations. I used a diff drop kit as well as carriage drop kit. No issues with anything whatsoever.

People mentioned that mountain bikes move around too much when mounted over the tailgate. I use a Thule pad which is heavily padded at the top and it wedges itself between the front shock and down tube. I also use a ratchet strap on the back wheel. I drove for three hours with our bikes in the back and they didn't move AT ALL. Here are some photos of what that looks like.

Hope those photos help. I don't have any photos of the truck with the spacers on it. I'll try to get some. My dislike for the spacers is that more stuff gets thrown down the sides of my truck because the tires side wall, not the treads, stick out past the wheel arches. The tread is pretty much in line with the mud flaps.

luchin, its been a while since your lift? Still happy?

Im facing the same question as your original post, OME website says 885 coils give 1.75” lift, most posters say it gives 2.5” lift. What did you actually get on yours with the 5100s after they settled? Im looking for 2”.

I like the look of your truck, was that 1.5” or 2” AAL in the rear?
