Probably not, but a T4, G6.35 base, 30w halogen should be a stock item.

Just make sure it's the 12v bulb. They have both 12 and 120 lamps and they look identical.

Looks like the 2-pack has been discontinued... I looked for weeks to find one and never did. Found one store with an empty hook.

Much of the stock has been replaced with their house brand, but they do still carry the Philips lamps in the single pack.

Nice thing about the Philips lamp is no messing with getting it out of the 886 connector... Just snug your factory contacts together and plug it in firmly.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
So, quick update about the 886 bulbs. I recently broke my tail-light while wheeling, and replaced it today. Here's what my reverse light shroud looks like after running the 886 (50w) bulb.

I should've heeded the warnings and speculation about this bulb. It may not be a problem for those who are in reverse for very small amounts o time (out of a driveway, parking spot etc.), but if you do any serious off-roading, there are certain situations when you spend a lot of time in reverse (backing out of a nasty trail for example). I will be swapping to the 894s ASAP.

Yup... I run it in mine but I have never had it in reverse longer than 30 secs at a time. You have to think... you are running a high watt high temp fog light bulb and modifying it to fit a housing it wasn't designed for. For what I use it for it works great but take that with a grain of salt. If I were to run my truck in reverse for a long period of time I wouldn't recommend this mod at all. I've been running it for a few months now and checked the other day when I had my tail lights out while painting my rear bumper and noticed no adverse effects.

    Too much, thanks TW.
I finally did the Sylvania 894 reverse light bulbs mod today. Freaking awesome amount of light! Why did I wait so long to do this!?!? I read the entire 886 mod thread and decided on the 894 bulbs. Playing it safe but still so much better than stock. [IMG]
I have a Black & Decker Wizard (Dremel Tool) with a thin cut-off wheel for making the cuts. Super easy and a must do if you have tinted windows and/or get the most out seeing with your back-up camera. Thanks again for your insight guys.

    50w are way too hot.

You can likely find something at any big box store, 12v, <50w, 2 pin. May not be able to find twin packs, but I can assure you that you'll enjoy the convenience of simply snugging up the bulb holders versus breaking a single bulb... and you'll pay a lot less, even if you have to buy them individually.

You'll also save money ordering them online too, 1000bulbs dot com or Amazon, wherever you want... if Home Depot is far away and you have amazon prime or need to order some other stuff (to the $ figure of being eligible for free shipping on other items in your order), go for it. Mine are still working great after the better part of a year, haven't had to open them up and snug up or anything. I've also removed my tail lights since then when wiring up my trailer lights, didn't even think about the fact that I had aftermarket bulbs in (until 20 seconds ago actually hah)... all is still well.

Highly suggest people get away from modifying bulbs, stressing over clipping the wire, breaking stuff... especially with the picture above of melty housing. I broke two of the pricey autozones in about 10 seconds and still am sore about it hah.

Well went by lowes and picked these up and installed them just abit ago, HUGE difference between these and LED's I was using. Easy install and wish I would have did this along time ago.

I must've not crimped the internals tight enough because mine didn't work and had to go back to the stocks, will have to try again next weekend.

I did the 886 mod on my last truck but I think I might pick up a set of those. I never had any issues with overheating with the 886 bulb but this looks safer and anything is better than stock.
