I'll try to find them tonight.

I think we are going to do the same night run this time, basically it will be to go and pick up all the gps caches for the gps competition. Hopefully it won't be quite so foggy for this year's night run. :)

We're going to see if we can get a good price on some flags and have them for sale right at camp. I'll let everyone know if I can come up with something.

If so, you should be fine driving on the beach to camp without a flag. YOu just don't want to drive out in the dunes without a flag.

Usually they just come with the flag mounted in a bolt with a lock washer and nut, so you either need a place to drill a hole to mount it, or come up with some kind of custom mount.

If you don't have a shell on your tacoma and you have the stock tie down rail system still on your truck, it would be pretty easy to make a custom mount out of the stock tie down things that go in the rails. A couple pieces of 1/8" aluminum flat stock and a few bolts is all you need. Each piece gets three holes in it. ONe in the middle for the flag to run through and bolt into the bottom one and then a hole on each end to run bolts through the aluminum and the tie down. Tighten those and it clamps it to the tie down.

I'm going to make something similar that will mount on my thule bars on the 4runner and van and one that will work on the yakima bars on my wifes tacoma since she has a shell on the back.

Hopefully that made sense, haha! I may mock one up later and take pics. I'll have my cordless drill on hand for those that want to drill a hole in a bumper or something.

I found some cool looking magnet ones that are specifically made for the safety whips but I think they were pretty expensive (almost $50)
