    Other than a front skid plate, what other armor would be advised? is there anything that goes fully under the vehicle? I saw the video of where you hit that rock coming down and knicked off you hitch pin, did it mess anything up under the truck? can this be avoided?

    You can either get ATO skids/sliders (4x innovations sliders is what he sells) or you can get Relentless fab skids. These are the two I would recommend. I like ATO, because he is local, and Relentless is in CA. PM ATO and see what Kevin says to you. He has a vender section. I hit my hitch pin because, a: Toyota put it in the worst fucking position, and b: I took a shitty line off that rock. You can get a high clearance rear bumper which is steal and can easily take a hit like that. This is also the reason most of us eith have or want the front bumper. A lot of people who have done a lot will claim if they had to do it all over again, they would buy front and rear bumpers, sliders and skids before suspention:rolleyes: I almost agree with them. You have to know how far you want to be before you make that decision....

    Recommended armor order:

    1) IFS Skid
    2) Sliders
    3) T-case Skid
    4) Transmission Skid
    5) Gas Tank Skid
    6) High Clearance Rear Bumper
    7) Front Bumper

    This is based on the order of what gets hit the most multiplied by what areas are most likely to disable or operationally change your vehicle if they take an unprotected hit.

    Everyone wants to get that front bumper early because it looks so damn sexy, but as you saw with Linwood and his hitch pin, the rear is far more vulnerable (and far more likely to hang the truck up). Front bumper is really the last armor item your truck needs in terms of usefulness.
