Whelp TW, I drove from New Jersey to Illinois in my 2010 reg cab 4x4 manual, and on the back end was the 6x12 tandem axle u-haul loaded down with the girlfriends belongings. The trailer empty weighs 1920lbs and its filled calculating it roughly to be another 1000lbs. (couch, queenbed and all that goes with it and a lot of odds and ends etc etc)

At any rate this trip was going to be the real test for this truck. I have seen like threads with guys towing roughly the same load but with a AC or DC prerunner. The truck for the most part handled beautifully. Western PA was not kind to the truck. The hills killed me and had to drop in into 3rd to hold 50 mph. Other than that cruising along at 55-60 in 4th was no problem at all and a joy. I didnt mind slowing down and the truck felt at home at the speed with that load. Of course I revved higher than I usually do for shifts, around 3k rpms. The best part of all this is that the truck got anywhere from 17.2-18.3 mpg while towing. I was thrilled. I was expecting 14-15 mpg. All in all I was surprised how this lil truck carried itself and have some new found respect for it. Just wish I had a little more power for those dang hills
