Hi, I am approaching the 90K mark on my 2008 DC 4.0 Prerunner and am debating on performing the appropriate tune up/service that is required. I've searched the internet and this site and have only found spark plug suggestions. I would really like a suggestion on the Spark Plug Wires and where to buy them. Does anyone have any suggestions? And please, if anyone has any suggestions or tips on the rest of the tune up (rear diff oil change, re-torqueing the propeller shaft bolt, etc) please feel free to add.

Hopefully others with more experience will chime in. With modern coil-on-plug ignition, I am not sure if the plug wires are still as stressed as with older distributor ignition systems.

    Diff fluid change guide: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/24545-changing-differential-fluid-step-step-how.html

Propeller shaft bolts (basically the bolts holding the U-joint flanges) should be checked every year or 10k. :) Simply attempt to tighten them with long wrenches. The reason those bolts are part of the maintenace schedule is because the driveshaft rotational inertia has a coupling effect that can [in theory] loosen those bolts.

I'm going to be doing this soon as well. Any write ups on changing the front diff, tranny, or transfer case fluids?

    Too many to list now.
It's really easy. ^ fill plug comes out first, then drain plug, drain, put plug back in and fill until level with the full plug hole. Just did mine a few weeks ago and it was way easier than I thought.

I should clarify I only did the front diff this way. Tranny I would be a lot more accurate with amounts.

All is very good information. So you're saying I dont need to change the spark plug wires at all? If anyone has a part number for items that need to be changed, I'd appreciate it. Thanks a million guys!
