Did a search on clutch but found nothing along the lines I have an issue with. The piece that attaches to the clutch pedal is flexing. I haven't taken one apart to see the innards so am guessing is a shock absorber of some kind. Is this piece replaceable separate or will I need to replace the master cylinder to get a new one?

I have probably 2" of free travel before resistance and the clutch will only disengage when pressed really hard to the floor. The last little bit when pushing the clutch in is very stiff as well. Am I missing something easy here on adjustment? 270,000 mile on her and PO said did a complete overhaul of engine with new clutch and all. I did replace a master Cylinder and all worked well for about 6 months.

Will try a bleed then go from there. Checked fluid first thing but was where has been since replaced the Master last year. Thanks for the quick reply.

Did you bench bleed the master cyl. Some air could have worked out into a line

I have a 93 with the 3.0 doing the same thing. I see no remedy as yet. I too replaced the master cylinder about a year ago.
