96 Tacoma TRD, No locker???

I was wondering if a 96 Tacoma with a TRD off road package has a rear locker. If it does, when does it engage and if it does not engage, how would i encourage it to engage? Any help would be nice.

 

Does not have a locker and is not a trd, you couldn't get a trd until 98 I believe. Someone probably put a trd sticker

another question. If I were to do an axle swap with an e locker, would it work, if so what year Tacoma can the axle come off of?

 

Ya you can do a axle swap but its spendy! I don't know about the e locker, but you could do a arb air locker also. You can get a axle from a 80-85 toyota I think. You could also cut up a dana 44. That's what I would do.
