Hey TW! Here is my 1999 Tacoma 4x4 3.4 L w/ MT and 167k. Previous owner added the TRD Off Road graphics. Just got the B.A.M.F. sliders installed. Current mods are full OME 3" lift, TC UCAs, 33" BFG AT, and Relentless bumpers. Plus a few other odds and ends.

Future plans are to paint it (clear-coat is peeling), and get a set of Harrop e-lockers. Maybe do a re-gear at the same time since I'm on OEM 4.10 gears. I think it'd be the ultimate to do a diesel swap, but that's a long way away.

Here is how she looks today.

As long as your engine has been maintained it will be fine. Install is pretty easy. Take off the Intake mani and replace it with the S/C. Then replace your alternator belt with the CHarger belt. The rest is just connecting vac lines. Takes about half a day

Not of you're running the "stock" 6psi pulley. A couple guys on here are even running a 2.2 pulley without any electronics. It really varies from one truck to the next. Some can run a 2.2 pulley with nothing else done with zero pre-ignition and others need a 7th injector and fuel pump with the stock pulley. A big factor is the elevation you live at and typically drive in

Is your turbo setup running on stock ecu?

It was on the stock ecu for the last year with pink top injectors at 7psi. I recently installed a Megasquirt3 and 550 injectors so I can up the boost some more to about 10psi

How much more of a power boost did you get at 7psi?

Here's my dyno sheet. This was done in March on the stock ecu w the pink injectors and a Walbro 190 pump. Boost was closer to 8psi then.

    182 hp at 5000ft altitude
226 hp corrected for sea level

Their wideband was showing that it was leaning out by reading through the tail pipe. Mine was at 10.8 reading pre-cat

That set up cost about $2500. That included intercooler set up and the parts to build a cat back exhaust as well. Some parts I bought new and other things I bought used. I did all the work myself.

    Here's a couple vids:

Very easy and straight forward even with basic hand tools. Which engine do you have?
