98 Corolla LE won't start...

    A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    It won't start today...went to get in...turned the key and nothing...no click or nothing...honked the horn...nothing...went to Wal-mart...got a new battery...put it in...lights come on, horn is on but when I turn the key...nothing...silent...now what???

    it was the kill switch to the alarm...works now.

    No the battery is dead...tested it...that was my original problem...then it won't start but the lights came on and the horn worked...before it didn't.
